God Exalting Jesus

Jesus was to glorify God the Father
 
John 17:1    Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father, the hour has come.
                    Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You,
John 17:22   And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:
John 17:24   “Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may
                     behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
 
 
Our ultimate purpose---The Glory of God
 
Ephesians 1:6     to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
Ephesians 1:12   that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.
Ephesians 1:14   who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to
                           the praise of His glory.
 
 
Fellowship of Christ’s Sufferings
 
Philippians 3:10    that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings,
                             being conformed to His death,
 
Glorify God
